From Hurricane Sandy to the worst drought since the Dust Bowl, extreme weather is becoming more frequent and severe. If we don’t act now to cut global warming pollution, the consequences for future generations will be devastating. PennEnvironment’s Climate Defender Organizers are responsible for recruiting, developing and mobilizing hundreds of volunteers in critical communities around climate change. By the end of the campaign, organizers will have built a volunteer team that can continue the fight for Pennsylvania’s environment for years to come.
