Job description

Relationship Manager, Development Department

The Public Interest Network operates more than a dozen organizations committed to a shared vision of a better world, a set of core values, and a strategic approach to social change. Some of the groups that are part of the Network include U.S. PIRG, Environment America, Green Corps, and the National Environmental Law Center. We are taking on some of the biggest challenges facing humanity such as delivering clean air, clean water and a livable climate to the next generation. But politics today often pits left vs. right, progressive vs. conservative, in ways that leave us no closer to real solutions. We don’t fit into either camp. If this approach interests you – apply today!

The Development Department’s new Relationship Manager would be responsible for, among other things, cultivating The Public Interest Network’s Leadership Circle members and major donors, helping to organize an annual retreat as well as quarterly webinars, briefings, roundtable discussions and more. • Communications: Send regular updates, notes, cards, invites, materials, reports and more to Leadership Circle members (actual and prospective); and track communications. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
