The Community Voters Project is kicking off its nationwide campaign to increase the number of African Americans and Latinos that are registered to vote. We’re hiring paid organizers to help.
Registering to vote is one of the core rights and responsibilities of American citizens. Some communities are still underrepresented at the voting booth, which is why registering voters is so critical to a strong democracy.
We’ll be registering voters by street canvassing in communities of color. We’ll be talking to people one-on-one at bus stops, outside of stores, at gas stations, and wherever else we can find high concentrations of unregistered voters — and asking those people to fill out a voter registration form right there on the street with a clipboard. Want to join us? Fill out the form below, and we’ll follow up with you to talk more.
By providing my contact information, I consent to have Community Voters Project and the other groups in The Public Interest Network contact me with information about job opportunities and campaigns.
