We’re Work for Progress. We recruit people for jobs with cutting-edge nonprofit organizations that are making a difference for our environment, our health and our future.
We place qualified candidates with U.S. PIRG, Environment America, Green Corps and other organizations in The Public Interest Network, which runs organizations committed to a shared vision of a better country, a set of core values, and a strategic approach to getting things done. Every election cycle, we also staff one of the largest field campaigns in the country to help elect candidates who will vote for and champion the environment and the public interest.

Our recruitment team
We’re hiring candidates for the dozen plus organizations in The Public Interest Network.
These organizations are transpartisan. They reach out to everybody who might agree with their work, including liberals, conservatives and everyone in between. They value dialogue over polarization. And they invest in people and strategies that deliver results, including advocacy, lobbying, campaigning, litigation, policy research and grassroots organizing.
Over the past 45 years, this approach has won hundreds of victories. In just the past few years, organizations within The Public Interest Network helped convince California, New Mexico, Washington state, Virginia and Maine to commit to 100 percent zero-carbon energy and McDonald’s to reduce the overuse of antibiotics in its global beef supply.
We are hiring for nonprofit groups that tackle these issues and have positions available in more than 30 cities and states.
